Grade 2 Eureka Math Module 8 Lessons 1 – 5

2nd Grade Eureka Math - Module 8 Lessons 1 - 5 Topic A

These lessons are all about the attributes of geometric shapes.  Students should be able to identify and draw two-dimensional shapes such as triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons. Students have knowledge of cubes and be able to tell how cubes and squares are related but different.

Build, identify, and analyze two-dimensional shapes with specified attributes.

Module 8 Lesson 3 Topic A – Objective

Use attributes to draw different polygons including triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons.

Standards: 2.G.A.1

Module 8 Lesson 4 Topic A – Objective

Use attributes to identify and draw different quadrilaterals including rectangles, rhombuses, parallelograms, and trapezoids.

Standards: 2.G.A.1

Module 8 Lesson 5 Topic A – Objective

Relate the square to the cube, and describe the cube based on attributes.
